VISIT

THE BIG EASY & LIMMUDFEST: A GREAT COMBINATION Calling all Limmud groupies! You know who you are: you’ve been to at least one Limmud and have fallen in love with the combination of learning and camaraderie that characterizes each Limmud. Now you want to experience more. LimmudFest 2012, which will be held during New Orleans’ prettiest time of year, will feature cutting-edge presenters and performers, Jewish films, hands-on sessions, a Young Limmud program, and great kosher food. A Young Limmud program will be provided as well. This year there will also be a Shabbat dinner to start the weekend. We will help you find hotel accommodations and will arrange for transportation from the airport.

LEARN

Limmud, a Hebrew word for learning, is a global movement of Jewish learning that helps people explore their connection to Jewish ideas and tradition through workshops, discussions, arts, music, performances, text study sessions, and much more. LimmudFest is not about developing a political or ideological agenda, but is an opportunity to craft your own Jewish world and meet people who share your curiosity and enthusiasm.
